Service Agreement
Fresh Car Express
Effective Date: April 21, 2025
This Service Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into between Fresh Car Express (“FCE”), and the customer (“Client”) receiving vehicle detailing services.
By scheduling and receiving services from FCE, the Client acknowledges and agrees to the terms of this Agreement.
1. Business Location and Scope of Services
Fresh Car Express provides vehicle detailing services at a dedicated wash stall located at:
Centennial Parkade – Level B2
608 9 Ave SW, Calgary, AB T2P 0A7
2. Parking and Vehicle Clearance
Customers must have or purchase a parking ticket for entering the Centennial Parkade.
Customers should ensure their vehicles are under 2.05 meters (6’8″) in height. This is the clearance limit for vehicles entering the Centennial Parkade.
If a vehicle exceeds this height limit, it will not be able to enter the parkade and therefore cannot be serviced at Fresh Car Express.

4. Arrival at Wash Stall & Vehicle Access
All detailing services are provided at our wash stall, which is located at:
Centennial Parkade – Level B2
608 9 Ave SW, Calgary, AB T2P 0A7
It is the responsibility of the customer to bring the vehicle to this location for service. Upon arrival, customers must provide access to the vehicle and ensure it is ready for detailing. Fresh Car Express requires the keys to the vehicle to perform the service.
By providing Fresh Car Express with the vehicle key, the Client authorizes Fresh Car Express to move the vehicle before, during, and after the detailing process, within the wash bay area and the Centennial Parkade.
If the customer is unable to access the wash stall or fails to bring the vehicle at the scheduled time, cancellation or reschedule fees may apply, as outlined in Section 8 below.
5. Vehicle Pickup and Delivery Disclaimer
By booking or agreeing to our door-to-door detailing service, the customer authorizes Fresh Car Express and its representatives to operate and transport their vehicle for the purpose of providing detailing services. While all reasonable care will be taken during vehicle handling and transport, Fresh Car Express is not responsible for any damage, loss, or unforeseen incidents that may occur during transit, except in cases of proven negligence.
The customer confirms that their vehicle is in a legally operable condition, is currently insured, and complies with all applicable road safety and insurance regulations. The customer agrees that their personal vehicle insurance remains the primary coverage while the vehicle is in transit.
6. Client Responsibilities Before Service
Clients must remove all personal belongings and valuables from the vehicle before service.
Fresh Car Express is not responsible for lost or damaged personal property left in the vehicle.
The vehicle must be in a condition suitable for detailing. Excessively soiled or hazardous vehicles may incur additional fees or be declined.
7. Payment Terms
Payment is due immediately after service by credit or debit card, or cash. Payment can also be made online via credit or debit card at the time of booking.
Late Payments: Late payments incur a 10% fee plus 0.5% daily interest until paid in full.
If you plan to leave during your appointment, please notify FCE before departing. Work on your vehicle will continue as scheduled.
By booking, you authorize Fresh Car Express to charge the card on file for cancellations, no-shows, or approved service extensions.
All sales are final.
8. Appointment Cancellation & Reschedule Policy
When you book an appointment, we reserve time exclusively for your vehicle and turn away other clients during that slot. Need to reschedule or cancel? Please notify us at least 24 hours in advance to avoid fees:

9. Service Limitations and Liabilities
All detailing services are performed at the Client’s own risk.
Fresh Car Express is not liable for:
Pre-existing damage to the vehicle’s paint, upholstery, or systems
Damage caused by standard cleaning products or techniques on surfaces with prior defects
Weather-related incidents or delays
Biohazard Surcharge: A minimum 20% surcharge applies to detailing that involves urine, vomit, feces, blood, or similar substances
10. Service Modifications and Extra Charges
Fresh Car Express reserves the right to:
Reschedule services due to unforeseen events (e.g., equipment failure, weather, stall availability)
Charge a $50/hour rate (or portion thereof) for services exceeding the agreed scope
Refuse service if the vehicle poses a health or safety risk to staff
- FCE reserves the right to refuse service if the Client is rude, disrespectful to staff, or appears to be under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any intoxicating substances.
11. Assumption of Risk and Release of Liability
By scheduling and receiving services from Fresh Car Express, the Client:
Acknowledges full responsibility for the condition of their vehicle and any existing issues that could affect the detailing process.
Releases Fresh Car Express from any claims for damage to the vehicle, its components, or other parts of the car caused by normal detailing procedures.
Waives any liability for damages caused by hidden defects in the vehicle or by cleaning techniques used on fragile surfaces or pre-existing damages.
12. Satisfaction and Service Guarantee
If the Client believes the service was not completed as agreed or is unsatisfactory:
Fresh Car Express will re-perform the unsatisfactory portion at no cost
Claims must be made within 24 hours of service

13. Final Inspection, Gratuity & Service Concerns
At the end of your appointment, FCE will walk you through the results to confirm satisfaction. If you’re unavailable, a 10% gratuity will be added to your invoice to compensate the technician for completing the job without your review.
If you have any concerns, they must be reported within 24 hours of service. Concerns raised after this window or refusal to participate in the final inspection will not be addressed.
14. Shop Storage Policy
Vehicles must be picked up within 2 hours of completion unless prior arrangements are made. After 2 hours, a $100 hourly storage fee applies. To keep our schedule running smoothly and ensure availability for other clients, we reserve limited space in our wash stall for active appointments only.
15. Pre-Existing Conditions & Liability
We inspect and document visible pre-existing damage before starting service. If any issues occur during your appointment, we will notify you immediately. Fresh Car Express’s liability is limited to the amount paid for the service, and we are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damage.
16. Media Use & Legal
By booking our services, you grant Fresh Car Express permission to photograph your vehicle for training or marketing use unless you request otherwise in writing.
This Agreement is governed by the relevant local and provincial laws of Alberta, Canada. You confirm you are at least 18 years old and authorized to approve services for the vehicle. For questions, contact us at freshcarexpress@gmail.com.
17. Promotions, Coupons, and Referrals
Promotions and referral credits cannot be combined
Referral programs are only valid for first-time customers
Fraudulent use of referral codes or self-referrals may result in credit cancellation or legal action
18. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate court within that jurisdiction.
19. Updates and Amendments
Fresh Car Express reserves the right to update this Agreement without prior notice. The latest version will always be available at https://freshcarexpress.com.
20. What You’re Agreeing To
By booking with Fresh Car Express, you agree that services are time-based, not checklist-based; you will provide vehicle access and participate in the final inspection; you understand and accept our cancellation, storage, gratuity, and extended service policies; payment reflects FCE’s time and effort, not guaranteed outcomes; and FCE‘s liability is limited to the amount paid.
By booking and accepting service from Fresh Car Express, the Client confirms they have read, understood, and agreed to this Service Agreement.
